There were some great games that were only available on the Nintendo GameCube, which is a shame. These games are the best of the bunch.
The Gamecube is Nintendo’s fourth video game system. It went up against the original Xbox and the PlayStation 2. Even though the GameCube couldn’t compete with the hugely popular PlayStation 2 because it had a DVD player built in and third-party support, it did have a lot of great games.
Unfortunately, many games that came out on the GameCube haven’t come out anywhere else yet, so they’re stuck on the system. Nintendo is redoing a lot of its old games, so it’s possible that some of the games on this list will also be remade or remastered. Only time will tell.
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour
Mario Golf is a sports game for Nintendo systems that has been around for a long time and has seen its fair share of new games. Even though many people thought Mario Golf: Super Rush was a letdown, the game was still fun to play once you got past the high price and lack of content.
Many fans of the series like to think back on games like Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, which they think is a much better game in every way. Even though the game wasn’t a big change for the Mario Golf series in any way, it was a lot of fun to play with friends on the different golf courses because the gameplay was good and the graphics were fun.
Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance
Fire Emblem is a set of great strategy JRPGs that have become a trademark of Nintendo. These games have been on almost every major Nintendo system, and the GameCube is no exception to this golden rule.
In fact, Path of Radiance was a big change to the way Fire Emblem games were usually made. It was the first game in the series to have voice acting, 3D graphics, and real cutscenes to make the story more interesting. This was definitely a step in the right direction, as both fans and reviewers loved the show’s expanded score, even if the visuals were sometimes a bit too dull and boring.
Pokemon Colosseum builds on the success of its predecessor. It has better 3D graphics and, for the first time in this famous spin-off series, it has dual battles. The gameplay was as good as ever, and the story mode was fun in its own right, even though it felt a little thin compared to the other games in the series.
In multiplayer fights, players have to use a lot of strategy to use their Pokemon’s best moves and get rid of their opponent’s strong and intimidating Pokemon. It’s too bad that this game has only been available on the GameCube. Only time will tell if fans will finally be able to play it on Nintendo Switch Online.
The microphone was one of the Nintendo GameCube’s strange devices. The mic was used in Mario Party 6 and 7, Chibi-Robo!, Karaoke Revolution, and Odama. Odama may have been the most interesting place for it to be used.
Odama is a pinball game where the player gives voice orders to their army of soldiers. So they can bring the Ninten-bell to the other end of the screen. The pinball, which is called the Odama, can destroy enemies and their buildings, and if it hits the Ninten-bell, all of the enemy men will fall over.
Ikaruga and Gunstar Heroes were made by the same team, Treasure, that made Wario World. It’s a mix of a platformer and a beat-em-up, and players have to lead Wario through levels to collect wealth. The point of the game is that all of Wario’s money has turned into monsters. And he needs to take them out to turn it back into cash.
Wario can punch, buttstomp, and pick up enemies and throw them into other enemies. Each level is made up of three parts, and each one ends with a boss fight.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
The first Paper Mario game came out on the Nintendo 64. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is the second game in the series. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door talks about a lot of things that most of the other games in the series don’t, like the death of a loved one and other sad things.
Like other Mario RPGs, the fighting system in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is similar to that of a Final Fantasy game. Combat happens in turns, but players can time when they press a button to attack or protect to make things go their way.
The Legend Of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
Four Swords Adventures was the first Legend of Zelda game that could be played with more than one person. It can be played with up to three other people. People need at least 2 Game Boy Advances, Link Cables, and multiple copies of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Four Swords for the Game Boy Advance to play multiplayer.
If the game came out again, they could make it easier to play with more than one person by adding online or couch co-op with a second controller.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Super Smash Bros. Melee is the second game in the series, and it adds a lot of features that are still used in the most recent games. A lot of new characters, like Mewtwo, Falco Lombardi, Ganondorf, and more, were added that weren’t in the last episode.
Also added to Super Smash Bros. Melee are awards that feature characters from all of Nintendo’s games, including many that weren’t even in the game in full. Doodle Baseball is very famous among people who play competitive fighting games, and a lot of people still play it today.
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is a remake of the original PlayStation game Metal Gear Solid. Just like Resident Evil for the GameCube. This game is an action-stealth game where the story is very important. Metal Gear Solid 2’s tech was used to make the game.
Even though most of the game is the same as the original, it has some new recorded speech and easter eggs, like statues of Mario and Yoshi and a GameCube hidden in an office.
Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem
Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem is a very big game that looks to Resident Evil and H.P. Lovecraft’s weird Eldritch stories for ideas. In each part of the game, you play as a different character in a different time period. And each character has to find the Necronomicon, which is the book of the dead.
When the player meets a monster in the game, their sanity meter goes down. When it gets to zero, the game comes up with some very clever ways to scare players and make them feel like they’re going crazy. This is done by tricking the player and breaking the fourth wall. For example, the player’s GameCube could be turned off. Their save file could be deleted, or the game could be turned down. All of this is a trick, though, and a unique way for the game to mess with the player. Play todays wordle game on your favourite game.
F-Zero GX is the last game in the series. It takes the fast, future racing from the other games and makes it even better. If players want to come first on each track. They need to have a lot of skill and know a lot about the track.
There are a lot of different characters to choose from, and each one has their own ship, stats, and story. There are a few different game modes, such as the Grand Prix mode, where the level of each cup changes. As players get better at the game, the Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Diamond cups all get harder.
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Mario Kart: Double Dash takes the game in a whole new direction. Players don’t just have one driver in a kart; instead, there are two people in one kart. This helps with the game’s stat system, which is very important.
If players choose two figures who are about the same size, their stats will be more even. So, heavy characters will be able to go faster and be more stable on the road. Lastly, the car will go faster if its parts are smaller. There are a lot of different ways to mix and match personalities. So players can do it in a way that works best for them.
